The Cogs/Miller Financial jumps on the Bulldogs early and coasts to 15-0 win

The Cogs shut the door early on the Bulldogs, capturing a 15-0 victory on Thursday at four.

With 11 runs in the first three innings, The Cogs left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI triple by George Nebesnik, an RBI double by Mike Webster, an error, an RBI double by Felix Thomas, and a two-run home run by Nate Miller during the first inning and an error, a sacrifice fly by Webster, and an RBI double by Thomas in the second inning helped The Cogsput some runs on the board early.

Thomas racked up three RBIs on three hits for The Cogs.

The Bulldogs couldn’t get anything going so long as Dave Moxley was on the hill. The Bulldogs managed just two hits off of Moxley, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his four innings of work.

The Cogs pounded the Bulldogs pitching, as six hitters combined for 11 hits, 10 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
